I waited till the morning after the faint line test and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks! It wasn’t until the third (and successful!) cycle that I stopped tracking everything and just paid attention to my body. I bought an at-home pregnancy test and took it kind of just for shits and giggles at 7 DPO, which I now know is crazy early. AF is due on Tuesday, and I'm just done. Initially I testes 11 days past DPO but went negative so I waited for a week later and tested again since I still got no period and then boom, positive! The fact that you had a strong positive on "7 DPO" that is now getting lighter, with cramping and bleeding, make me think that you probabaly ovulated a lot earlier than you thought, got your positive around 14 dpo or later and are now having a chemical pregnancy.
